M57, The Ring Nebula in Lyra, Zoomed in View

This zoomed in view of the Ring Nebula in Lyra resembles the popular images of it in the media taken with the Hubble Space Telescope or by arge ground-based telescopes at major observatories. The detail seen in this greatly zoomed in image, which greatly resembles images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, is a testament to the resolving power of the PlaneWave CDK17. For a detailed description of the Ring Nebula, see the full frame image posted on this website. The spiral galaxy at the bottom of the image is IC 1296, which lies 238 million light-years from Earth.

Exposures: L:R:G:B = 100:55:55:55 minutes =0.917 hours 4 hours, 15 minutes total exposure, completely unguided.
