Lynds Dark Nebula 1111 in Cepheus

Lynds Dark Nebula (LDN) 1111 is a dark nebula in Cepheus. It is just northeast of the famous Elephant Trunk Nebula and, like the Elephant Trunk Nebula, is silhouetted against the large emission nebula IC 1396. LDN 1111 is the very dark globule at upper left. The wispy dark nebula trailing off it to the right is LDN 1124. The dark nebula at center right is LDN 1121, while LDN 1112 is in the below center and LDN 1117 is in the lower right corner.

Exposures: Ha:R:G:B =330:100:100:100 minutes = 10 hours 30 minutes total exposure, all unguided.
